Gudauri resort

Ski resort Gudauri is located in Kazbegi municipality, 2200 meters above sea level. Gudauri is about 120 kilometers from Tbilisi. The winter season in Gudauri lasts from December to March.

The first cable car in Gudauri was built in 1988, and today there are 14 cable cars, and most of them are built by the famous Austrian company “Doppelmeier”. The lower ropeway is 1993 meters above sea level, and the upper one is 3276 meters above sea level.

Gudauri skiing tracks are intended for all levels of skiing. The total distance of the ski road is 70 kilometers, which includes 20 ski tracks. The ski tracks are mainly of 4 different levels of difficulty: beginner, intermediate, experienced and professional. Gudauri is a favorable place for lovers of skiing in unmarked snow. Its inclined slopes allow this. The air in Gudauri is dry, and the snow cover reaches 1-2 meters.
